Púbol Castle, 20th March 2025
This year, the Gala Dalí Castle in Púbol presents the synthesis of the exhibition The Awakening of the Myth: Gala Dalí.
The exhibition features the most outstanding pieces from the past three seasons (Spring-Summer Collection, Haute Couture, and Autumn-Winter), developed in close collaboration with La Roca Village. This selection of six fashion designs is complemented by a collection of ten accessories, four of which have never been exhibited before, such as the Suzanne Rémy tiara, created in the 1930s under the influence of Elsa Schiaparelli, or a 1970s necklace with reminiscences of ancient Greece, which aligns with the artistic creations of Lisa Sotilis from the same period.
Additionally, the exhibition includes five photographs by artists closely connected to Gala Dalí (Horst P. Horst, Robert Descharnes, and Marc Lacroix), highlighting the significance of fashion in shaping her public image.
The exhibition is curated by Bea Crespo, with artistic direction by Montse Aguer.
