The Foundation's chairman, Ramon Boixadós, and the coordinator of Dalí Year 2004, Montse Aguer, today presented the official logotype of Dalí Year 2004. The logotype takes as its central motif the work by Salvador Dalí Study for Stereoscopic Work. Eye in a Landscape (c. 1975), belonging to the Foundation collection. The logo's composition was created by the graphic designer Àlex Gifreu, from the [bis]dixit studio in Figueres, after an idea suggested by the museum's director, Antoni Pitxot. An announcement was also made during the presentation that Daniel Giralt-Miracle -coordinator of the Gaudí Year 2002 until only a few weeks' ago- has been appointed consultant to the coordinator for Dalí Year 2004.
