The Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí has been awarded the Gold prize presented by AVICOM (the International Committee for Audiovisual and New Technologies of Image and Sound of the International Council of Museums) for its documentary Dalí-Pitxot. The allegory of memory, in the long documentary category. The prize was collected by the foundation's managing director, Joan Manuel Sevillano Campalans, at a ceremony held on Saturday 20 September at the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow during the International Audiovisual Festival on Museums and Heritage, a competition with an international jury of experts who analyse the best productions from the museum world. La Nutria Produccions was the production company for this documentary which was directed by David Pujol and produced by Ivan Carrero, the script was written by Montse Aguer and David Pujol, and it was edited by David Pujol and Jordi Muñoz.
La Nutria Produccions, now under the name of DocDoc Films, is responsible for the audiovisual project to celebrate 40 years of the Dalí Theatre-Museum. The documentary Dalí-Pitxot. The allegory of memory was presented in DVD format together with the catalogue for the temporary exhibition at Púbol Castle dedicated this year to Antoni Pitxot. The exhibition was produced by the Centre for Dalinian Studies and curated by Montse Aguer. The authors of the catalogue, published by DAS Edicions, are, in addition to the curator, Juan Manuel Bonet and Antoni Pitxot. The documentary and the exhibition can be seen until 6 January 2015 at Púbol Castle.
