Preservation of documents
The numerous and varied documents, photographs, magazines and books of the Centre for Dalinian Studies are revised by the Conservation and Restoration Department prior to any exhibition loan. Condition reports are completed, and in many cases conservation and restoration work is carried out, as on one of the Vogue magazines with a cover designed by Salvador Dalí, which was loaned to the exhibition Dalí and magazines. The treatment consisted of dry cleaning, repairing tears and missing backing material, chromatic reintegration and a general smoothing out of the magazine.
