Observations
This painting is entitled "Image mediumnique-paranoique" for we believe it may correspond to the work Dalí presented at the exhibition held at Galeries Catalonia of Barcelona, from the 2nd to the 4th of October 1934, number 3. The following year, this same work illustrates the article written by Salvador Dalí: "Les eaux que nous nageons" published in "Cahiers d'Art", number V-VI, 1935, with the title "Image mediumnique-paranoique". This title is not translated since "medianimique" is a word invented by Dalí. Although this painting is signed and dated in 1935, the iconographic elements correspond to the ones in paintings from 1934. For this reason the artwork has been moved to the 1934 period.
