Observations
This work received different titles during 1936. The original title corresponds to the one given when it was first exhibited. The second title is given by Dalí when the painting was shown at the exhibition held at the Julien Levy Gallery in New York, from December 10th, 1936 to January 9th, 1937. Besides these various different titles, this painting also appears under the following names: "Panel" in Julien Levy's book "Surrealism", The Black Sun Press, New York, 1936, and as "Unfinished" in "Minotaure", number 8, 15th of June 1936.
