Composition clearly inspired by Matisse that fully coincides with the French artist’s The Dance. Moreover, it is worth pointing out the presence of rather satirical characters, in the lower left hand corner of the oil painting, related to the popular aesthetic of ceramics. Dalí reminds us of popular Russian iconography, especially that presented by Marc Chagall, in a work not exempt of both irony and satire given the double meaning of one of the instruments being played by the characters.
