We were inspired by the Christmas cards that Dalí created. The artist used the typical Christmas trees found in European and North-American culture as the central theme of his cards. How would you like to create a Dalinian Christmas tree from wings, shells, sea snails, fish scales, feathers and other parts of the animals that Dalí used in his work?
We will need
Scissors
Glue
A thin stick about 60 cm long
A piece of card
Pictures of eyes
Pictures of shells, fish, starfish...
Pictures of wings: of birds, flies, butterflies, angels...
Coloured feathers
Glitter
How to make it
1. Glue the card onto one side of the wooden stick.
2. Cut out different pictures of wings, eyes, scales and shells and glue them onto the card in a creative and surrealist way to form a Christmas tree shape.
3. When the glue has dried, cut away the extra card.
4. If you would like your tree to be even more original and sparkly, decorate it with feathers and glitter.
